Default New gift ornament

I don't have much time to turn right now but this is another gift ornament that I made trying out a new design. The top screws off so you can hide your gift inside. The ladies in my office all think it's for hiding a diamond but I think you could just as easily put a note inside saying "your new air compressor is in the garage-Merry Christmas" But hey I'm a man what do you expect.

Wow John that is fantastic! Your ornaments are just the best. If I were to receive one I woudn't even think to look inside of it as it would be quite a gift all by itself! Nice work.

If I gave that to my wife with a note inside saying her new air compressor was in the garage I had better be prepared to duck fast!

I cut the threads using the Baxter threader from www.bestwoodtools.com I don't usually have woods hard enough to hand chase so I bought this. I've been able to cut threads in very soft wood by making multiple light passes and coating the wood with wax followed by a final coat of thin CA.
