Default HF with a lid

I started this last year but the fire haulted work for a while. My bowl survived. I re turned this one today and made a lid to fit. It's Spalted Ambrosia Maple and is sanded to 600. I will add some poly tomorrow.

Default hf with a lid

Don't mean to be a critique, but I think that the lid takes to much away from the HF,maybe a smaller lid ? with more of a matching grain pattern,or just go without a lid.As for the bowl in its self,It looks real nice.

Donny,
pretty wild looking piece of wood. Like to see it with a finish. I like ambrosia maple.
