Mitch - please reread my post ... I said buying cheap was NOT the way to go. I did and am sorry for it. I will be buying better and I'll sure look for that Freud blade.

Box Joints, dont you just love em


When they are all glued up and finished properly they will look nice

I use the T.S with a stacked blade to cut mine, in fact i did some this morning. Simple setup with your mitre gauge, piece of board screwed to the gauge and a key added, also a spacer for the first cut.

Default homemade box jig and dovetail jig

Here's one I made awhile ago and a dovetail jig.

Default Just a little OT, Dado Blades

You might think that the uses for your expensive (> $100.00) stacked dado set will be limited but let me tell you that you couldn't be further from the truth. I am sure that once you have it in your shop you will be constantly mounting it on your tablesaw. DO NOT GO CHEAP here. A set with 5 toothed chippers will give great cuts and prove indispensable in any cabinet project.

Back on topic, I make box joints on my tablesaw and use a jig I made from plans available at the New Yankee Workshop.
