Default Trappeur here from Georgia!

Hello everyone...I live in the mountains of Georgia and have been reading this site and it sounds like a nice bunch of people here..Been looking for a forum like this so thought I would join in if I may..I make rustic adirondack wooden cornice boards and mirrors and furnishings and also do interior design...I just closed down my home furnishings shop after 10 years from burnout and now work out of my home which I love...Getting ready to make the move back home to Maine as soon as my 2 properties are sold..Hopefully soon! lol I know I'm going to learn a lot from you all! I'll post a few pictures of my work so you can see what I do.

(Oh, and I'm a girl) lol.....

In the upper left corner of the page there is "user CP". Under "networking" there is "pictures and albums". If you add an album you can put pictures in it .This is an inside joke here since you are new...another member will give you better instructions probably. I am so lame as a moderator it is not even funny , the guy who runs this forum keeps trying to fire me, I just don't open his PM's .

Oh , put a picture in a post like that. I reckon you figured it out all by your lonesome.

You did the mirror frame ?

Dang! I just fiddled around and geesh! can't believe I got it first try.....The directions given on how to post pictures and yours were nothing like what in h...I just did! Oh, well it worked for me....hey but thanks Daren!

Well now that I got a picture up, I guess do I put pictures in the area where it says "projects"? Daren?

Well, anyway, now that I've got one up, here is infor on what you see here...This mirror is 11 feet long! A biggun!!!!I'm doing a tremendous log lakehouse weekend home for some great people...Actually a little mere 2 million dollar log cabin, lol, lol of which I could live in their garage...lol This mirror I painted a black worn finish and then applied dowels ripped in half, added birch bark that I gathered in Maine, with pinecones, acorns and twig sapplings.....Then I finished with a poly....I have 2 cornice boards in the same room I made to co-ordinate with this mirror.....I guess I should post them in the other area?

Hi Daren,
Yes, I did the mirror frame.....

Took me quite a long time...Originally was going with 1 big mirror, but couldn't get the mirror that big as I use 1/8" mirror....would have snapped in a minute and just way to big to handle.....and probably couldn't get in and out of my van either...lol
