Default New to the forum, not new to woodworking.

I just wanted to say hello to everyone, and thanks for letting me become a member of this community.

A little about me .....
I am semi retired after 35 years in the residential remodeling business. The last 25 of those years, I owned my own construction company. My company did anything from small repairs, like fix a sticking door, to major remodels and additions, even building new custom cabinetry, and sometimes furniture. I know the construction and woodworking business very well.

I retired from the remodeling biz for a variety of reasons. After all, 35 years is a long time to do that type of work. Fortunately, I started young, so I am still too young to completely retire. Frankly, after being self employed for so long, I don't really want to completely retire. I enjoy working ... I know, you don't believe me, but the proof is, I'm here, lol. Golf was never my cup of tea. I do get out on the lake from time to time, tho.

I guess most woodworkers have a creative sense that needs to be explored, or they wouldn't be woodworkers to start with. I've always had a passion for art and writing. So, I decided to pursue that. Now, I design and build websites. I've been honing my skills for about 2 years now, and I'm taking the plunge. I've put together a website for design and hosting, and I call it 1WebNet.com. I have a very low priced starter package available for those who don't already have a website. And for those who do already have one, I can offer my time as a consultant or re-designer. I also have an excellent, top of the line, hosting service available.

Thanks again, and I'm looking forward to a long relationship with this community and it's members.

Glenn
