Hello,
My name's Jeff. I'm relatively new to woodworking. By that I mean doing more than the occasional basic project around the house like nailing up a fence slat or building something basic from 2 x 4s. I'm slowing growing my small but useful third garage workshop. Most recently I tried my hand on a test cutting board using what I had available, red oak. I know it's too porous for actual use but it's giving me experience for when I move to walnut, maple, and some other exotic hard woods.
Most recently I've finished a folding 2x4 picnic table-to-bench, a smaller 2x4 bench with end tables, and a bunk bed for two grandsons.
