Default Jaco

Hi all, my name is Jaco Botha, I mist the part of the introduction. I am from South Africa in the Western Cape province, also working from my home as a part time woodworker for myself. Buy myself a present (Felder KF700 with a 2m sliding table) for my hard work. This is a very nice machine to work with. When my shop is in shape I will post some fotos.

Greetings Jaco

Welcome Jaco!

Man I really *love* the species combo you chose for that although I do not know what they are. How about some details? Maybe even make a post in the Project Showcase section.

Default Wood species

The wood that I have used was Imbuia (dark pieces) yellowwood for the lighter sections and the chair is made of rosewood and orange wood from a citrus tree for the hand pieces.

Great job on that desk! You've probably got great access to some amazing species of wood over there in South Africa. I'm jealous! :-)
