Default Hello from Southern Illinois

An avid woodworker / Carpenter for many years. For the last several years my construction business has taken me on the road from coast to coast. The last few years I have specialized in tile setting doing a lot of high end work.

During this time I have been acquiring several tools, primarily old Iron, and restoring them. I have aslo been collecting some walnut for our kitchen cabinets. When I have my next two logs sawed and dried I will have about 1500 Bdft, some of it 19" wide. The hext two logs could equally be as wide, I hope.

Much of my spare time lately is consumed with restoring an 1858 era Carpenter Gothic Style victorian home.

I'm from Olney a small rural community. We are most famous for our local population of white squirrels, pure albino. Please note that not all of our squirrels are four legged either. In 1950 we were considered the center of population. We were the hub for the Oil and Gas Industry. And from the late 60's until the Taiwan and Chinese imports we were the center for the bicycle industry.
