Default Hello From Seattle

Howdy all.
I just found this forum, and I hope to extract a lot of information.
I've worked with wood in the past, but mostly with soft woods. I'm in the process of building my own house, and have decided to take on doing the trim myself. So I expect I have a sharp learning curve a head of me.

I'll be asking lots of questions, so be ready. :)

Welcome, I’m new here as well and even though I’m not a carpenter now I was an apprentice framer as a teenager. I also did framing while in college and for a few years after until I got a job doing what I went to school to learn. Anyway, there are a lot of professionals here as well as those building or have built their own homes.
