Default welcome

You will enjoy this form, what kind of wood do you have there. Lots of rain makes for big trees?

Howdy Bob,
Welcome to another Oregonian. I'm a valley dweller, myself. Corvallis, approximately. Where are you at?

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the welcome!
I've had Alder, Big Leaf Maple, Cherry, Fir and some Spruce milled up before. I used to have a little property with all these different trees on the place. I live in town now, so no more of my own trees!! Darn!!!!! Corvallis, well your not too far away! I live in Newport! I work for OSU over here. I know quite a few people in Corvallis also being with the University.
Have a great day!

Bob-- welcome fellow termite and oregonian. You have found a great forum. Hope you are ready to get to work, cause these guys are certain to inspire you. You can get answers to ANY question you can come up with, and most of them will even be correct. The ones that may not be SO correct are at least entertaining and will make you think. I am new to the site too, live in Medford, and am in the process of building one of the worlds tiniest shops so I can start to play again on a more limited level. WELCOME

Bob,
Welcome. I have some friends up in Oregon. I am a member of the Hodaka motorcycle club. Hodaka was headquartered in Athena back in the late sixties to late seveties. There is a big resurgence in restoring them. I have five of them now. I was up to a dozen and have thinned out the herd in the last few years. Nice people up in your neck of the woods,
Mike Hawkins

Hi there J. Tizzle,
Yep, I've lived in the North, the East, down South and of course the West. But I always call Oregon home, though I do have a home South of Tucson as well
