Hey guys,

I'm Scott from Cleveland OH. I'm 21 and have lived in the Cleveland area my whole life. I think Cleveland gets bad rep in the media sometime which kinda sucks because I absolutely love living here, love the city, and all the cool places around town.

I don't know barely anything about woodworking compared to (I'd imagine) a lot of you. Anyway, I've been playing guitar since I was 15, at this point I'm pretty dedicated to music though I don't plan to make a career out of it, I'd have to say it's become more than a hobby. I've always been interested in woodworking and over the past, ehh, year or so I've really taken an interest in building (electric) guitars. In fact, I was trying to find some information on a guitar I picked up this weekend via google and stumbled across this site.

For as little as I do know about woodworking, I think I can (humbly) say I do know a LOT about guitars and music in general, so feel free to shoot me any questions.

Guitarguy, Go to the Project Showcase part of this site and look at FrankP thread named --- "A couple of projects in the works". He just built his daughter and himself guitars, and a fine job he did if i might say so. This gentleman seems to be able to build just about anything and does it pretty darn well. Welcome to the forum.
OMT--- i used to live in the southeastern part of the Buceye State!

Thumbs up

Welcome aboard Scott! Where the heck was this great information offer when I was building my son's guitar?!

I'd like to build another some day, but it's currently about 117th on the "Honey Do List"! Good to have you here...
