Default Greetings

I'm posting my first message today and look forward to participating in your forums.
I hope I can get some advice concerning some brazilian mahogany outswing french patio doors. I know nothing about this type of mahogany and am anxious to know some of its characteristics (both good and bad) I live in central california (Carmel) where the climate is generally mild with a three month rainy season. My patio has a 4' overhang which will offer some protection to the weather.
Any advice or comments will be welcome.

Hi Will welcome to the forum.
What did you want to know about the doors.
My question is are the doors finished or unfinished?

If you are looking for some information on Mahogany try this, http://www.thefreelibrary.com/The+fa...hogany.-a02082 7239 or this ttp://www.woodfinder.com/woods/honduras_mahogany.php

Mahogany has strong outdoor features, which would make it good for outdoor use.

Hope this is what you were looking for.
