Default G'day from Down Under ( Western Australia

Hi. I just joined and am looking forward to being part of the forum. I hae been fighting a bad vibration problem with my Delta 10 inch contractors saw since I got it and finally worked out what causes it. As the motor in hinge mounted, any variation in the width of the belt overis length causes the motor to rise and fall, seting of a bad viration. I've tried varios belts, some bloodyexpensive, all to no avail. I have even sanded the belt onthe side which has helped a bit ut is still not good enough. A Rule or square sitting on the table while running tends to rattle off to the floor. Any help or suggestions wwill be gratefully recieved. Thanks Scott

Welcome Scott. That vibration sounds bad. I am not familiar with that saw but I'm sure some other members are and can help.
