Default Another one from Long Island

Hi guys (and girls)... I'm a carpenter on Long Island, and I also have a small woodworking shop.. Woodworking was just a hobby of mine until my remodeling customers found out I could build them bookcases, mantels, other misc cabinets... Now about a third of my workload is done in the shop.

I've lurked here for awhile, and figured it was time to come out of the shadows....

Now that your hobby involves customers, is it still fun? Hope so. Glad you decided to join in.

Yeah, I felt so left out...

Seriously, thanks for the welcome... I'll see what I can dig up for pictures...

Rob- yeah, it's still fun... I'll spend 10-12 weeks in customers homes, and then get to retreat to my shop for a couple weeks to build some stuff. There's the Blues station on the satellite radio, plenty of Gatorade in the mini fridge, and a good pizza place directly in front of my building. It's almost like a mini vacation when I'm working in the shop.
