Hi Garry,

I only know the long way around, and I'm not sure if there's a short cut. When you've got the view you want to capture, hit "ALT + Print Screen." The print screen button is usually on the top row of the keyboard, and mine is abbreviated "PRTSCN". If you're familiar with Microsoft Paint (you mentioned it in the other post), you can open that and hit "control + V" to paste (you can also use any other photo editing software). You should now see a screen shot of your Sketchup window. Save it like any other file (crop if you want) and then you can post it. There's another thread around here about posting pictures on the forum.

Hope that helps, -SW

file--->export----> 2D graphic---> .jpg

this way you save only the graphic rather than the SU console

when you get to the popup for the 2Dgraphic window there is an options button to select pixel preferences etc ...you can save as .jpg, tif, bmp or png

save it in what ever folder you wish then to import the photo here the easiest was is to use the paperclip attachments button rather than the insert image button
