Question Faster de-barking....help !

I build furniture from Eastern Red Cedar here in southern Indiana. Most "logs" are smaller in diameter than a soccer ball. I am currently using a 4 1/2" electric hand grinder with a coarse "flapper" disc to de-bark and take off limb knots.

This works ok, but I'm looking for better, faster, quicker more to shorten my build time and therefore make more profit by taking less time to build my products. De-barking takes the most time for me.

I am aware of this tool: http://www.logwizard.com/

however, I don't own one yet and am looking for something quicker and less labor intensive yet.

Any suggestions ? I'm a home shop, but am growing little by little.

Feel free to hit me direct. crayls@embarqmail.com
