I have a used Grizzly drill press, used Grizzly 12.5 planer and a new Grizzly oscillating spindle sander. All good quality equipment and I'm very happy.

I have a friend of mine that makes expensive high end custom furniture and he has a Delta table saw. The REST of his shop is all high end Grizzly tools. He swears by them. I have had many opportunities to use the tools in his shop and like them as well.

Their customer service is world class. My friend and I have had nothing but positive experiences with them. They go out of their way to make you a happy camper. That is HUGE in my book!!!

My first table saw and joiner were Grizzly. I took a drive to Williamsport PA to see if the prices meant junk, and came home with these two machines in my pickup. I used them for 10 years, and was not worried when I sold them to my best friend, who still uses them both.

You won't get 100 percent fit and finish, but mechanically they are well built and customer service is very good. The higher cost machines compare very favorably in design and performance with the "name" brands. If you're looking for price/value combination, I would not hesitate. I used to live in Charlotte, take a ride up to PA in a pickup and see the showroom; its worth the trip and you save the shipping.

I have a Grizzly 14" bandsaw, portable planer, disk sanding station, router table, and 6" jointer. Needed a few tips on the jointer which forum members helped me with. I would buy them all over again. Currently hoping to upgrade from my Craftsman table saw and get the G0651. That great big new catalog they send me each year is just a bonus.

I currently have the 14" bandsaw and have had zero problems with the machine itself. However the fit was not the best but I have learned to deal with it. I just went into a Rockler store local to me Sunday as I had sold my tablesaw the day before and was in need of a new saw. Went looking to get the Jet contractor saw, but then saw the deal on the Delta Hybrid for $750 with a $50 gift card. Waited forever on a saleman to assist me only to find out that the sale ended the day before and they hadnt removed the placard advertising the old price. I could have raised a stink, but thought better of it as it surely would have ended in SWAT callout for the local police Instead, I went home and order the 2hp Grizzly Hybrid. Anxiously awaiting its arrival. I may even take the day off from work when it gets here just to lovingly run her through some paces

I would have fought for the sale price. They would have given it to you. Red

That's known as a blessing in disguise! There's nothing wrong with the Delta per se, but it has the least mechanical advantages going for it of any of the other current hybrids on the market. The Delta hybrid uses table mounted trunnions, which most hybrids do, however Delta offers those table mounted trunnions in conjuction with connecting rods as an arbor carriage that mate the front and rear trunnion brackets together. The other saws that use table mounted trunnions (Griz G0478 and G0661 included) use a one-piece cast arbor carriage which is just a nicer design.

Looking forward to seeing the pics of your new saw all setup! (Don't forget to treat yourself to a nice new blade)

My first serious table saw was a G1023S ~ it was real nice after I got the minor kinks out.

Default Grizzly Sander

I have a grizzly spindle and disk sander combination, the floor model. For round surfaces and inside corners the spindle sander is the only way to go. It arrived with some bent mounts for the spindle table I called grizzly and had the replacement pieces in less then 5 days including shipping to Montana. I now have bought a meat saw grinder combination and have used it only once to do a hog. It seems to work Ok.

I am driving up to Bellingham on friday and picking up the GO513x2 17" bandsaw, the GO462 Lathe, the GO453 15" planar, a scroll saw, and a whole slew of other stuff. Planing on spending the whole day up there. The trip should save me a couple hundred $$$, in shipping. I already own the Hybrid GO478 cabinet saw, along with a small compressor and brad nailer and have been real real happy.

I own several pieces of Grizzly equipment. I own a 3hp cyclone dust collector. I am very happy with it. It's suction is incredible and reliable. I own a 19 X2 Extreme bandsaw. I am very pleased with it. It offers many features like cast iron trunnions and a rack and pinnion table. I had looked at my neighbor's Jet 18" model and didn't want to pay so much. My neighbor saw mine when it arrived and was very impressed as well. I also have a 3hp motor that I upgraded to on my tablesaw and I am still smiling about that purchase. My tablesaw cuts like a dream. I upgraded the motor from a 1 1/2 hp motor. Grizzly customer service is very nice. This is also true of Delta, WHM, and Milwaukee for me. I agree that the Grizzly's upper line shows better quality. I would not hesitate to take a serious look at Grizzly equipment. I have been kicking myself for not getting one of their larger jointers instead of a Powermatic. Nothing wrong with the Powermatic, just realize I good have gotten more equipment for the money, like a huge 10" jointer with 3hp motor.

I have the Griz 3 hp cabinet saw with 7' rails and the 14" bandsaw with riser. Both are great. I had zero run out on the table saw and top is dead flat. You should decide what will work best for your shop but I'll stick with Grizzly.

Hey everyone,
First post since My hello. I own the G1023slw with router table attachment And also the Go555x 14" bandsaw. I am very pleased with both. I have had a few small problems with the bandsaw tensioner. The tensioner bolt stripped out for some reason. I have just fixed the problem with costomer service being top notch. I also have ordered the bottom pully from the Go555 so I will have 2 speeds on My x series. I have not had any problems what so ever with My table saw. Well except me dropping the fence and now it moves when you clamp it down after measuring where you want the fence. (measure 3 or 4 times cut once). I have not tryed to fix it yet. Maybe someone has a solution for that problem.
I will post pics of both with an edit so give me a min.
Ron

I finally got the pics on here But they are probably so small just like My shop

I recently bought the Grizzly 10 in sliding table saw, 20 inch extreme thickness planer with wheels, 8 inch extreme jointer with wheels, and the 17 inch extreme bandsaw and I am very happy with them all. They were delivered with no damage at all and all the machines were set up on the nose at the factory. The planner and jointer both have the helical cutter heads and beleive me there is no other way to go. These cutterheads are sweet. The wheels are also a great feature. The planer is a brute and I can move this thing around my shop with ease. The jointer is the same and I would not buy another one without the wheels and spiral cutterheads. So far I am satisfied with my purchase. Even with the shipping I feel I got a great buy with Grizzly. Of course time will tell the overall quality of their product but so far I am pleasantly satisfied.

I own about 90% Ridgid tools. They preform well and have a lifetime warrenty. If the motor burns up in 20yrs I can get a free replacement.I bought mine when they were introduced in the 90's.I have used the warrenty once so far. A friend at work threw away a ridgid vacum because of a bad motor.I took it out of the dumpster and returned it to the store. They looked at it and gave me a new one(no reciet and with no questions).I like that in a product.

So I'm new to all this, and just trying to decide on my first big tool (TS). Can someone explain to my WHY or HOW Griz is able to be so much cheaper than some of the others like Delta and Jet? As an example, the G0691 is on their website for $1350, while it would see (to me anyway) that a comparable Delta is closer to $2000. What gives?

Grizzly's big tools are made in Taiwan. They're up front about that. They also post a quality control person at the factory. The difference is labor cost. Some will get into a political discussion about that. I'll just get the best tools I can afford and Grizzly usually has em. I just received my GR0462 lathe.
