Hi Mike. Looks like you have posted a bunch in a hurry you must have something to sell.
Can't answer why you can't post. I thought it was automatic after 25. Nathan will be along and resolve it I am sure.

Give it a bit of time. The script only runs every few hours to upgrade accounts so you can post.

However I do hope you here to do more than just post something for sale.

How do I know if I have posted 25 times? Or do I just try and post an item to see if I can? And if I may ask, why the restriction of posting unless we have 25 post's?
Thanks.
Does this post count as a post?

Man, I wish I had read the description of this section before I went ahead and joined this forum...

I am normally a frequenter only on Toyota 4Runner forums... I have a table saw in my garage I wanted to sell. I know nothing of woodworking whatsoever... I couldn't make 25 actual posts unless I was just making random shots in the dark.

Any way I can post the info or am I just being a pain? Figured I'd have a better chance selling it here to an actual woodworking enthusiast or hobbyist rather than a 4Runner forum.

That is why the rule is in place, to keep people from joining just to sell their stuff and not contribute. This is a discussion forum, not a free online classifieds. I am not being rude, just saying it keeps the forum cleaner/more focused on woodworking talk.

Try craigslist, it's free and local.

Effective, I suppose.

It's been up on craigslist for a little while, but I figured the amount of people really looking for this type of saw would be limited and more expanded on a forum such as this. Interesting, as this rule is not implemented on my main forum. I completely understand your reasoning, though.

Happy trails.

Just asking cause I am new, would we be able to post skill sets like drawing and plans for projects, I do designing and engineering for projects and am a engineer for a commercial cabinet company but like to draft for a hobby. I am asking so I don't start off on a bad foot.

I don't see why not but if your asking for money for your plans you might want to wait till you have 25 post first. If they are for free then post away.

Do one thing at a time, do it well, then move on.
