Cool Phenolic sheet goods.in long island NY

i have a bunch of this stuff, have made a lot of jigs etc with it through the years. but taking up too much space now. pasting what i put on craigs . happy to sell or trade, Make me an offer & make it go away !
----
phenolic panels available in limited amounts ,various sizes/colors /thicknesses

This stuff is Dense,Stable and FLAT. great for woodworking jigs , fixtures , fences , work station table tops, router tables, router insert plates etc etc etc, most still has protective plastic film. extremely strong, waterproof. completely flat, maybe a good reference surface?. cut/route with standard wood working tools.but dont use your good blades it dulls fast.wear a respirator too!

these pieces are 1/2" and 3/4" thicknesses.
lengths are mostly 2' to about 4' with some being 5' and almost 8' tall.
widths are mostly 12"and under, some are between 24" and 48"
prices are negotiable, reasonable offers ~ these materials typically sell around $15 to $30 per square-foot depending on thickness and specs. i'm asking half that or less

here are some comparisons pricewise.
"(2)phenolic tablesaw insert blanks $30"
"tablesaw inserts-woodcraft-$25":
"12x12x3/4-mcmaster-carr = $26":
"blank router plate-$30":

tablesaw insert size? hm, i dunno let's say 4 for 20+shipping. and $10 for router plate sizes.

Default solid surface

that looks like solid surface to me, not phenolic plywood.

brother if u can make it flex, i'll pay YOU lol.
the 3/4 and 1" is like steel in my layman opinion, heck, the 1/4 and 1/2 dont flex either . it'd take an awful lot i think, more than any WWing process would demand fars i can see.

i'm in baldwin . you?

Default i miss long island...

well i grew up in massapequa but i live in west va. now.
whoa culture shock!!!
i'll be back a lot. im looking for something truely flat. i need a perfectly flat surface for a router table and a sanding table.
i might get a friend to cut me some granite but who knows when he'll get to that haha. would this work for that or is it not true and flat?
i guess it would have to be 24"X24" or at the least 16"X16".
i got some 2" thick mdf but im afraid even that will flex over time.
thanks dude!!!

yep it's truly flat and stiff i used a large piece for a router table(whole table not just the insert) and worked great, nice and slick too so material glides over it easy, just be sure of course to have a firm grip on things or clamped to a miter gauge etc.

Hah yes that is snow, its been a cold september
actually an older pic form last winter.
yes i will ship it if u figure out how. so far ive only shipped smaller common sizes. router plates, tablesaw inserts and those size ranges...
if its under 13" long it can get into a $10 flat rate box with usps.

Tribe,

You can also get 5.5 board feet into a large flat rate box for $13.50 anywhere in the US. You can actually get 6 BF if you tape the top of the box together first (and a little loose) and then turn it upside down, cram it full of 6" of material, then tape the bottom flaps together.

There will be a large gap between the flaps on the bottom but only a small one you left in the top. I've never been refused shipment doing this but I got some warnings when I was leaving the large gap on the top.

Just a little trick I wanted to pass on in case someone wants to buy a 12" x 12" x 5.5"+ (6").

Thanks Tex'
yep saw the $13 box sizes too, ive been referring folks to them.

router plates do work fine in those
problem is that most folks have wanted it for tablesaw inserts which are generally 14"x4" so these flatrates are out.good news is that it isnt much more to ship regular box,and can even be less.
