Anytime we offer a give away or free stuff, we get all kinds of new members who have contributed nothing to the forum who want to "cash in" on the free stuff...itpissesmeoff. a bunch of freeloaders.

If it were my raffle, I would limit the offer to members with 25 posts, just like the PMs and the posting in classified section. It's an afront to the members who have given the OP advice over time or provided gifts or other means of support.

The answer to your question will only be as detailed and specific as the question is detailed and specfic. Good questions also include a sketch or a photo

Nah, it's not just you. That said though, so far I haven't seen anybody making this thread their first post trying to get free swag. I'll admit to not being to worried about who it goes to, I'm really hoping this inspires someone else to try and pay it forward. Also, hey, you double posted :(

On another note, down to 6ish hours left, I'll pull the winner around 12am central time. Comment while you can! Err, assuming you haven't already

Epic you'll have to count me in......I can't help it....something about beautiful handcraftsmanship. I have a friend that custom builds knives...I paid him forward with a handcrafted Samuel Stoner knife....something about giving a gift when not requested nor expected....Thanks.

Have you ever tried stabilizing any of the old virgin (Tight grain) wood like from the 1800's log homes??? I MIGHT could round you up a couple of slices to try if interested. PM me if interested.

Sure did. CNt really find an aftermarket sheath to fit the knives I make, and subcontracting out to another maker just isn't my style. Plus, this way I'm nearly on a first name basis with the guys at tandy leather

Well, I was hoping I wouldn't have to do this, but between the low post count, the somewhat recent join date and the fact that the last login seemed to only be to enter this, and the fact that I can't get ahold of him, im gonna have to enact a deadline. If I don't hear from Kevin by 0000 10/23 I'll redraw the winner from the comments

I don't know Kevin, but my Irish Campbell grandmother would be very worried about the bad luck connected to getting a free knife and advise you to send Epic a nickel to pay for it.
