Default Delta DC380 15" Planer with Byrd spiral cutter

I have a Delta DC380 15" planer with a newly installed Byrd Spiral Cutter and new infeed and outfeed rollers for sale. This machine is in use and has planed several hundred bf of lumber in the past couple days. I am selling it because I am picking up a bigger planer next week. There is NOTHING wrong with this machine!

This planer is quivilant to the current part number 22-780X that can be seen here. http://www.toolseeker.com/WdWkMac/Pl...p?var1=22-780X

The cutter and rollers were installed this past fall and I have planed about 1000 bf with it since the install with absolutly no problems at all. The cutter for this machine cost $795

The 3hp motor was replaced last spring under warranty from Delta. I have the old motor that needs new brushes and it goes with the planer.

It also comes with the mobile base.

Retail value is over $2,100.00

Asking price is $1000.00

If you want pics of it shoot me a pm with a good email. Right now its buried in wood chips

Local pick up prefered but could make arrangements to deliver within reason (100 miles).

If I had the money and you were a little further west I'd happily take that off your hands. Of course if my aunt had...oh, never mind.

I looks like the unit is sold but wont know for sure until tomarrow when a guy comes down to put a board threw it to make sure it works.

Sorry to those that PM'ed me the last few days. I have been on the road with limited internet access at hotels.
