Dear john, It's a rare bird you're looking for! I'm the only one who I thought owned one and I'm keeping the guard! Hope you can find one, cause it would sooo scary to run without it. One could make one if one had a sample one to start from..I'm still keepin" mine, but I could take some photos, if you'd like. Trouble is there are some cast parts that would be difficult to make unless one had a lathe and welder. You spend a few days, but it can be done. There must be a loose one out there somewhere... I'll keep my eye open for one ..yard sales and flea markets..people don't know what they are and why they have them! There are probably some buried in tool cemeteries next to the Tablesaw guards! Best to you, bill

Default RAS guard

You might try OWWM.org web site if it is at least 20 years old. Those guys are very resourceful.

Hey YouNGwOOd,

I'm looking for the digital unit for one of those. I'd be happy to buy it from you if it's the right part.

Mine is a Craftsman Electronic RAS - mod#113.198251 and the digital control unit that's on the arm right above the power switch is part#815741. It's a discontinued part with no replacement recommended by Emerson Electric, who originally manufactured the saw for Sears.

Anyway, email or PM me if you want to unload it.

Default Recall site

Have you checked the Craftsman radial arm saw recall site? You saw may be one of them. I haven't looked in to the particulars but you might qualify for a new guard.
