I am in the middle of BFE. Their are 2 small lumber yards in 40 miles the only 4X4's that they carry is treated. I was in a larger town with a HD and Lowes. They only had treated wood also. , the next "decent" size town is over 1 1/2 hours away.

I have lots of stuff you can practice on. I'll send you nine 4" x 4" x 12"s. They will be a scosh less than 4" because the USPS boxes use inside dimensions and won't close all the way.

This will not be junk either. It will be good enough that in the event you don't screw it up (), you'll have something worth putting a shine on.

I'll even throw in a real nice piece. Turn it last after you have practiced on the other eight.
