zero clearance inserts - Woodworking Talk

Hi All.

Because I get alot of dust from the top of my tablesaw , I was thinking of making a zero clearance insert for my saw. I would think this would stop alot of dust what do you think ?

help you with your dust problem, It will make some of your cutting/ripping much safer.

I use a zero clearance insert most of the time and yes it cuts down on some of the topside dust. It is also safer. Unfortunately I can speak from experience.
