Default What kind of wood is this?

I found a good chunk of board someone else thought was scrap. But being new to woodworking I don't know what the heck kind of wood it is. Can anyone help me identify it?

Unfinished side

Finished side

Thanks.

Looks to me like Radiata Pine based on the growth rings at end. Is it quick heavy and is it 5/4.?
