Default What to do with scraps

Generally, my scrap piles are small. Most of my cut-offs become woodturning blanks. This means that right down to 1 1/2" squares can become the base of small bowls.
I also like a standard 1/8" table saw blade as opposed to a narrow kerf, The reason being is say for instance I need a piece of wood 9" wide and I have a 9 1/2" piece. With my calibrated fence, I can easily measure in 1/8" increments. and get two 1/8" strips with two 1/8" saw kerfs and still get my 9" piece. I use the 1/8" strips as 'racing stripes' in my bowl and platted blanks.
