Default tension for bandsaw
I just got a new 19" bandsaw from girz with a 3/4 blade for resawing. I cant seem to find out the correct tension for it. Does anyone know of a chart that lists proper tension for blade sizes. Thanks alot!

I don't know of a chart, but all I do for blade tension is to move the guides up as far as they go then with a light push to the blade I check to make sure I have no more than 1/2" play side to side . Then I will resaw a tall test piece. If the cut is bowed from top to bottom, the blade needs more tension.
