Default Tendoning jig

Has anyone used the no-name tendoning jig sold by Woodcraft?
It's on sale this month for $65, where a Delta unit costs $150.
The no-name is exactly like Delta's previous design, except for the color.
It appears like it should do the job.

Here's a review of the tenoning jig you're asking about.

Rag,
I bought that jig about a year ago. I have used it on several projects with great success. You do have to go through all the stuff of getting it trued to your saw, but once that is done there are no problems I have run into at this point. For the money I think it is a good buy.

I have similar jig - the Grizzly version. I've used it a few times and it works great, but I find that I usually end up making tennons with dado blade on the table saw or just nibbling them away with the single blade, if they're not too long. Maybe, it's the set-up time that deters me from using the tennoning jig. Never tried it on the router table, but sounds like it would likely make a nicer, smoother cut than my crappy dado blade.

I looked them both up last night and it looked like the Grizzly was identical to the Woodcraft one except Woodcraft didn't say anything about T slots. So when I get mine I guess I'll have to pay the $12.00 shipping instead of burning $20.00 worth of gas to go to the Woodcraft store. I love having an excuse to go to Woodcraft.

I have found with my jig that setup only takes a few minutes. I get it close and do a test cut on scrap and refine from there. Not that big of deal.

Default jig

does this jig come with the bar that runs in the table saw slot? It appears to be built into the jig base, but I cannot tell for sure? Has anyone used this jig on a router table?

It does come with the bar. I don't remember if it is already mounted or if you have to install it, but it is there. I have not used it on my router table but you could if you have a 3/4x 3/8 slot on your table. You will probably have to change the setup a little if it is set for your table saw.
