I need suggestions. Let me give you some background first.

SWMBO can tell me what she doesn't like but not what she does like. The only two things that I know for certain is that she doesn't want a trestle style and wants something that will have a couple of leaves.

I'm planning to enroll in a table building class during the fall semester. This is an advanced tables class. Knowing the format of the school, I need to be prepared with what I want to build or build their project.

So does anybody know of a book of dining table plans/examples that I could use as a starting point for the design.

I'm building a table right now where my wife pretty much had complete design control. I just Googled dining tables and had her tell me which tables she liked and didn't like. From there I started doing some concept sketches and dabbled with Sketchup to give her a 3D view.
I'm sure there are plenty of plans for tables out there, and/or books, I just don't know of any off the top of my head. You can try using Google with a search string like "dining table plans"

Thanks, I'll try a google search. I had tried a few other strings but none included the word "plans".
