Default Strange table

I was looking for ideas for a project and came across this very strange table. I thought it was worth passing on.

I went back and found it again. This is what it said
"Organic Rustic Table
Yellow birch root mass base with bird's eye maple top and dentil apron. Made by Adirondack craftsman Lee Fountain of Wells, NY. Circa 1920. "

Looks like a major dust magnet. Not very practical, but very whimsical.
