Default Spalted Maple

Thought you guys might enjoy looking on the inside of the Hollow Log I posted.
Thanks for all the great ideas, thats why I asked, I knew you would have them. The log is 24" in diameter and will be 14" from end to end once I make the final cut.
I actually got some pretty good chunks out of the inside I may use for knife handles.

Holy leapin' lizards - those are some phenomenal colors! I can't remember seeing purple in spalted stuff.

Actually These shots are from the inside of a hollowed out log I posted on in the thread "what should this be" take a look!
I am looking at many options that these fine people have given me for what I may do with this wood, yet to be determined!
