can anyone help me on these lathes thinking about buying one
the lathe is an shop fox

While I don't have any info on the lathe you ask about I am curious why you felt the need to start 4 threads with this question in 45 minutes time. You do have to give people a chance to respond.

Shop Fox is owned by the same man who owns Grizzly, and in many cases, the machines are very similar. Shop Fox is available through dealers, and Grizzly is mail order. Both names are typically well respected as good value. Shop Fox has two lathes...the W1758 is the larger of the two, and is nearly identical to the Grizzly G0462. What model are you looking at?
