Default Securing Drawers

I am building some drawers out of 1/2 BB ply and was wondering was length staples I should use to secure the corners during glue up. Thanks in advance.

What kind of joint you are using to glue them, I would use a brad.

I am using a lap joint. I was thinking about brads but thought staples would be stronger. What size brads would you use?

It would better to use a rabbit joint, If I understand you right a lap joint when you put 2 pieces wood together without making joint. So some kind of joint is going to be a lot stronger, dado or rabbit and so on.

Sounds like Norm " install a brad till the glue dries". How thick are your drawer sides? If 1/2", I would go atleast 3/4". This would give it a 1/4" of grab.

Thumbs up

Thanks for all of the advise everyone. I ended up using 3/4 narrow crown staples and glue and that seemed to do the trick. Thanks again.
