There are several scrapers available through online tool sites. They are cheap, cheap, cheap; only a few bucks a piece. I wish I could find a link to a recent tutorial on using and sharpensing scrapers. I Swear I think it was Taunton Press (pusblishers of Fine Woodworking magazine). Do a google search, and I am sure you will find tons of info.

Here is everything you need to get you going...

Go back to the woodworking tab and look under scrapers and there are many, many more.
At the item/description there are links to instructions on proper use/sharpening/etc.
Great company also.

I use a disguarded block plane blade...create a burr using a flat grinding wheel (mine is a hand crank with a flywheel) medium to slow speed. It doesn`t take much of a burr to scrape off a nice curled up piece of birds eye maple! Some people push and some pull...I do both. It may not stay sharp more than ten or fifteen minutes...but it only takes about 30 seconds to put a good burr on the blade. Rick
