Default Saw Mill/Lumber Yard/??? in Berk Co. Pa 19506

I have been looking around for places to purchase lumber WITHOUT have to go to Orange Depot or Lowers. (it appears according to this forum, they have lower quality lumber and higher prices) Maybe I am searching for the wrong thing. I have Googled Saw Mill, Lumberyard, Lumber in 19506. Basically have come up with nothing. I would be an idiot (which I don't think I am, but some others might disagree) not to want the best quality for the lowest price.

Can anyone suggest places to purchase lumber in this area? It is not my home area, but my weekend area. Which is where I will be doing most of the work.

Thank You again as Usual!

I have a page on my site for finding mills http://nelsonwoodworks.biz/pb/wp_a99..._a9976cb4.html
check it out, it's helped several people.

Just the first quick link I searched Pa came up with about 20 (?), but I am not sure how close they are to you.

Don't forget to check out some of the small local sawmills in your area. I found this one http://local.yahoo.com/info-12303184...mill-bernville by searching for "sawmill 19506" on Yahoo.

Also check this search http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=...t-132&ei=UTF-8

And see who has some locust/WRC/cypress for your lawn chairs.

You might try your local Craig's list. I have found a lot of wood, rough sawn cherry, oak, ash, and pine ect. The last ash i bought was 1.5o bd ft, and was delivered. Not bad.

Try www.woodfinder.com and www.woodweb.com

I've had good luck with both.
