Good advice.....I went over to my shop this afternoon to do a little more work on my table and put a few things away....very away, as to be hard to find. I guess as long as my stuff doesn't leave the shop and we can work out some kind of schedule so we both don't need the same equipment at the same time, I suppose I can learn to share a little better. Bad part is that he has a tendency to put things in his pockets (pencils, drill bits, tape measures) and forget them until he gets home. Where he takes them out of his pockets and sets them on his dresser, where they live until I finally get tired of asking for them back and just buy new ones. Oh well, anyway back to router table confusion. I've ordered a Woodpeckers mounting plate and now I'm considering fences. My current table has a cheap fence that I made to replace the one that came with it....that broke when I dropped it. Any suggestions on a manufactured fence or should I build my own? My big problem is that I'm still fairly new to this and if my fence is not perfect then every project I use the table for will be a little or a lot sloppy.
