he is in Reading PA. do not know of any closer to Jersey.

Greg, Searched Fair Haven. You're about as far east as you can go. My guy is in Fleetwood, Pa. Approx. 10-15 miles east of Reading. If you have a large order it may be worth the trip. Or perhaps you could meet their truck half way. Good prices, pick your own. Check them out at www.fleetwoodlumber.com. And yes, they have 8/4 maple.
