Peace on earth and good will to men!

Motor for my boat.

Nothing for the shop, no room to put anything else.

BTW: The wife and I have a rule. No gifts over $1.
We do our shopping at the Dollar General. Also
limit of five gifts.

Nailgunner was on the trail of something that was emailed to me a while back, for your enjoyment I will post it here. I have no idea who came up with this but here goes nothing.

The Woodworkers Twelve Days of Christmas.

On the first day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
A log from a big ol' pear tree.

On the second day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Two miter clamps,
And a log from a big ol' pear tree.

On the third day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Three French curves,
Two miter clamps,
And a log from a big ol' pear tree.

On the fourth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Four band saw blades,
Three French curves,
Two miter clamps,
And a log from a big ol' pear tree.

On the fifth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Five quarts of stain,
Four band saw blades,
Three French curves,
Two miter clamps,
And a log from a big ol' pear tree.

On the sixth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Six router bits a-cuttin',
Five quarts of stain,
Four band saw blades,
Three French curves,
Two miter clamps,
And a log from a big ol' pear tree.

On the seventh day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Seven saws a-swinging,
Six router bits a-cuttin',
Five quarts of stain,
Four band saw blades,
Three French curves,
Two miter clamps,
And a log from a big ol' pear tree.

On the eighth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Eight planer blades,
Seven saws a-swinging,
Six router bits a-cuttin',
Five quarts of stain,
Four band saw blades,
Three French curves,
Two miter clamps,
And a log from a big ol' pear tree.

On the ninth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Nine planer blades,
Eight lathes a turnin,
Seven saws a-swinging,
Six router bits a-cuttin',
Five quarts of stain,
Four band saw blades,
Three French curves,
Two miter clamps,
And a log from a big ol' pear tree.

On the tenth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Ten stands a-holding,
Nine planer blades,
Eight lathes a turnin,
Seven saws a-swinging,
Six router bits a-cuttin',
Five quarts of stain,
Four band saw blades,
Three French curves,
Two miter clamps,
And a log from a big ol' pear tree.

On the eleventh day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Eleven planers planing,
Ten stands a-holding,
Nine planer blades,
Eight lathes a turnin,
Seven saws a-swinging,
Six router bits a-cuttin',
Five quarts of stain,
Four band saw blades,
Three French curves,
Two miter clamps,
And a log from a big ol' pear tree.

On the twelfth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Twelve drum sanders sanding!
Eleven planers planing,
Ten stands a-holding,
Nine planer blades,
Eight lathes a turnin,
Seven saws a-swinging,
Six router bits a-cuttin',
Five quarts of stain,
Four band saw blades,
Three French curves,
Two miter clamps,
And a log from a big ol' pear tree.

One of those air filtration systems that I can hang overhead. My safety glasses keep fogging up when I wear the dust mask.

Peace on earth.

Yeah, I'm with Terry on this one....Happy Holidays don't cut it for me. I'm a child of God, and a Christian. I have full respect and tolerance for those who chose not to believe what I embrace, but that doesn't mean I should have to have limits placed on my beliefs. Good on you for bringing that up, Terry. Jesus is the reason for the season.

And if anyone talks to my wife, tell her that a set of rail/stile cutters for the shaper would sure come in handy....

What? on the nineth day you got another planer blade...you mean you got seventeen planer blades...you must be hard on planer blades! Anyway. I`m looking for a Hi-Bird Generator/heater with a remote controll that will turn it on from a mile away...that has a solar charging system for my new deep cycle battery that I have hooked up to a Veryack which runs my routers and saws...this all needs to fit into a GEO Metro incase I need to move to Mexico or Canada or Balli...or Hippi-hill. You are right Smitty, it is for families to remember
a gift we received, unconditional love and forgiveness.

Under the dust we are all brothers.

Terry, Smitty, And BHOFM I thank you for speaking the truth. You cant have Christmas without Christ.

Is this WOODWORKING FORUM going to turn into a PERSONAL RELIGIOUS BELIEFS forum? This tangent does NOT belong here, guys.

Please.

Okay this is a long shot.

Recovery from this economic mess we are in.

But, if that ain't happening then I just want to wish everybody a good Christmas and a better year to come.

I can't think of anything I really need.

I'm buying my own Christmas gift this year - I'm getting an air compressor. I'll try to act surprised when I unwrap it!
