Default Link to WoodworkingTalk.com

I want WoodworkingTalk.com to grow into a huge resource, but to do that I need your help.

I'm trying to get as many people as possible to link to us with either a text link or with a banner on their own websites. You all have some great websites and I'd be proud to have our logo displayed on them!
Below you will find instructions on how to add a link to your site and we will be adding more and more banners to this thread as we get them made.

As a "Thanks" for linking to us please add a link back to your own website in your Signature.

Instructions:
-----------------------------------------------
  • Choose the text link or banner that you want on your site from the ones below.
  • Highlight the code under the Textlink or Banner
  • Copy the code (Right mouse click choose copy, or Ctrl C)
  • Open your web page in a text editor
  • Paste the code into your web page where you would like the button or banner to appear (Right mouse click choose Paste, or Ctrl V)
  • Save your updated web page

We will be getting more banners made soon.

If anyone needs me to customize the image to match your background color just let me know and I'll send you the file.

THANKS!

You got it. I'll go into the control panels later and hook you up in both my sites.

I will be moving my flame boxelder site to the same server as my dovetail jig site soon.

My dovetail jig site has had 8906 hits since 2:40 pm on 3/5/08 until 4:09 today. The good news is I have not promoted the site. Hopefully we will get some traffic from it. people looking for a woodworking jig might be interested in checking out a wood working forum. I'll do my part to make it easy for them.

Thanks Nathan. I appreciate your pro-active approach and I know alot of others here do as well.

BTW, these are coded to open in a new window/tab so it won't take visitors away from your site.

I got it on my catalogue page but it's too low. Can't figure out how to get it higher. Will play with it more later. I have been taking a crash course in this type of code out of necessity.

You can't miss my banner, its smack center on the main page. You should add a little wood grain in part that is being cut by the blade. Just and idea.

yea come to think of it i guess you could add some dovetail splines around the edge of mine and trade the red color for my flavor of brown like is on the site, since I'm sure you are just sitting around eating bon bons and watching oprah.

I only half joking because I have no idea how much time that would take but if it's not hard it would be cool. definatly not a priorty in the big scheme.

we are a high maintenance bunch, us woodies.

If you have it in vertex form I could tinker and help you out with some variations, if you like.

Default Wish I could help, but.....

my wife informed me I don't have a web site. Unfortunately, I just about know enough of this computer stuff to carry on a conversation, but beyond the very basics, I'm lost. My wife is the pro. The woodworking talk is a great source of info for me and to anyone that has anything to do with keeping it up, THANK YOU for all your effort and time!!!

Man, Cool Truck. You must be proud of it to post it. I've got an 05' Dodge Ram 4X4 short bed, standard cab with a 4.8 Mag., manual 6-speed. She's all I can handle and it's part of the family. I'll post it when I get around to posting some of my project pics. - Ken
