Where can one purchase a 4 to 6 ft2 of a laminate such as formica? I have seen it at Lowes but only in large sheets.

More than likely all you will find is full sheets or maybe a half sheet, but doubtful. I would try cabinet supply companies first. Lowes and HD dont take care of their laminate and it is usually scratched up.

Tom,
If you have any countertop shops in your area that make laminate tops, you may be able to get a partial sheet from them. See what they have leftover.

If you lived near Crystal Falls MI I could sell you some too difficult to ship. I have plenty of extra laminate but only in one color.

List an ad on craigslist under wanted or materials. There's a good chance someone already bought a full sheet, only to need half of it. Getting the actual color though decreases your odds of success. Give it a try......it's free.

I have a neighbor whio is a contractor and I'm sure he knows some individuals who do counter top. I will check with him. Also, great idea on posting on CL. I had never thought of posting an ad for needing somthing.
Thanks,
Tom
