Default Home made tools.

This is one of my favorite tools, I use it for everything.
Clean up a joint, scrape glue, bevel an edge, what
ever.

It is made from a Paslode wide crown stapler driver
blade. It is extreme quality tool steel. It can be sharpened
to a razor edge and will hold the edge for some time.
Even when used for "other things"!

I had a piece of rubber hose and some electrical tape for
a handle and this morning I put a proper handle on
it, from Hobby Lobby.

It gets hit with the grinder now and then and a bit
of stone work.

I am trying to fit a laser on it some how.

It worked real well removing the caulk around the bath
tub BTW.

It has also been used for wall paper removable.

It is, it is called,, "GET A JOB"!

Now the rest of the story.

The 20 in the picture is not real. It is a photocopy done
on a HP scientific scanner. I have the matching printer.
The scanner will scan at a resolution of 92,000ppi.
It takes six hours to scan a bill. And six hours to
print. It is a 6gb image. That is just the face of
the bill.

If you try to print it on a normal printer the image
would be just slightly smaller than a foot ball field.

Only the front of this bill is done. To do the back
would get you in big trouble.

I got the printer and scanner when I was working
with the art department at the U of A. They were
developed to scan historic documents. I used it for
restoring old photos.

These old Polaroids were brought to me a few years
ago to see what could be done with them.

This is the first scan

This is what I was able to get from them with adjustments
in the scanner.
