Default help with veneering

hi everyone,

starting a new project building a desk. i am going to be using veneer in some spots, so if anyone has some tips or advice or anything along those lines it would be most appreciated.

It would help if you describe exactly what you will be doing, even a quick drawing would help, as your question is fairly general. Try to include what wood specie you want, what you'll be using...plywood/solid wood, or both, and where on the piece they will be used if you know. You said using veneer in some spots. If you could explain that.

ok i will be making a desk. for the top i am using 3/4 inch sanded plywood that i will be putting cherry veneer on. i am making a cabinet underneath on one end and a ledger board to hold the other side up. the sides will be veneered on one side and have a face frame in the front and a connecting piece in the back. and then it will have two false frame fronts.
