Default Gluing Baltic birch

Hey folks. I am new ot the forum and was wondering what glue would be best for gluing baltic birch? I am planningon making a stock for a gun using BB playwood. The I need to glue several layers of BB plywood together, shape them and then finish the wood.

What would be the best glue for strength and appearance?

thanks

I guess I am not sure why you would want to use plywood for a gun stock. Wouldn't you want to use thin layers of solid wood?

Never heard of using plywood for a gun stock, but I never heard of a lot of things. I use Titebond, and if any chance of it getting wet, then Titebond water proof glue. Titebond also makes a dark glue, if you are going to stain it a dark color. Elmer and I never got along for some reason.

There's Laminated gunstocks out there, just like solid wood and the composite ones.

I have used BB in the past for a crossbow stock. It wrks great. It finishes nicely and does not warp or twist which is very important for a gun stock.

Anyhow, the Titebond looks great. Anyone have an idea of where to get that glue in Southern ON (Guelph to be exact)?

Home Depot should stock it... IIRC there's one in or near St. Catherines. There might be one closer to you though.
