Default glue care

I bought a small bottle of titebond III about two months ago. I used a little of it, then snapped the end down and went on about my buisness. Today I went to use it and there was glue hardend all in the tip. To make matters worse, when I unscrewed the lid, it looked like water had separrated and went to the top. I'm wondering if anyone has a solution to these problems.

Clean the tip and stir the contents of the bottle

Anything handy to scrape/poke it out, even a pointed stick http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFHvPNi93aM

I have had the glue gum up the tip of the bottle many times. I usually take an appropriate sized drill bit and drill the old glue out.

I always just take the top off, pull the tip off the top, and "de-gum" everything, which sometimes requires a small screwdriver to get in the slots on the inner tip. Slam the tip back on the top, put the top back on the bottle, and get back to work. Seems to work just fine for me.

if it's really hard, and not just gummy, I'll lay the tip on it's side against the workbench and tap it with a hammer. The plug will usually come out all in one piece.

I buy Titebond by the quart and everytime I want to use some, there's a "skin" of dried glue covering the hole in the top. I just bite down on it, pinching it between my front incisors, pull it away from the bottle, and spit it out. Then I pull the nozzle spout up to open it, and away we go.

Takes all of about 2 seconds, and it works just fine, every time.

Never used Titebond III (I use TB2) but that water-separation thing sounds weird. Never saw anything like that.
