Maybe I should just turn into a dog house, that's
where I spend most of my time!

Our dogs are what makes it all worth while. Remember, in their eyes we exist to take care of their every whim.

You should do what me and my dog do. We lay out in the grass on our backs and my wife comes out and scratches our bellys. 'Course, we both shake our leg when she does it.

The dog belongs to the neighbor, her name is Goldie,
she is a 75lb Golden Lab'. She thinks she is a lap dog.
She collects any thing that is on the floor, makes
a pile and guards it. And trust me she guards it
good! You have to start yelling, "Where's the cat,
Where's the cat", while she is looking for the cat, get what you need from the pile before she sees you.
My wife is allergic to cats and dogs, so Goldie is the
best I can do.

I had to do three months of hard labor (read as "honey do's") to get permission to build this one.

I even had to,, well, we won't go there.

Yeah, John's met my little red head....she's rather irresistable, and like the sentiment Steve M. and George reflected on---our dogs think the world of us, regardless of how much wood we happen to screw up or what a rotten day we've been having.

God gave us dogs to help us share our love, not to see our flaws. Leave the dog right where she is, BHOFM!

I know that I'm sidetracking a little but sometimes, my wife would have to drive me to work. My dog used to love coming for the ride. (like most dogs, she loves riding in the truck) When we got to my work, on one particular occassion, I kissed my wife goodbye and gave my dog a hearty scratch behind the ears. One of the fellas from work said "hey, how come you gave your wife one little kiss but you were petting your dog for 5 minutes?" and with a little bit of a grin on my face, I said "because my dog ALWAYS loves me."
Aint that the truth.

My labrador has a tendency to stand on the outfeed side of my thickness planer while it is running...He catches mouthfuls of shavings mid-air as they fall, and then sneezes uncontrollably. They're not always smart, but they're great to have around.
