Default Fathers Day Rocked

Well, for Fathers day my lovely wife told me that I should go & get the router that I wanted, as she knew that their was one that I wanted. So I went & got the Bosch 1617. My wife then asked me how much it was & I told her $230 w/ tax. She then told me that I had not spent enough. After I got back from the Dr. due to the damage that I received from my jaw hitting the ground, I ordered the MLCS 45 peace bit set.

I Love my family!

Oh man, am I envious. I made a special point of showing my wife the router that I wanted and I even saw her on line looking at the one I wanted, but NO ROUTER. What’s up with that? I must have said something wrong. Oh well, maybe next time.

Congrats on your new router!

A router must be the father's day gift for 2009. My wife bought me the DeWalt DW625! She is a keeper.

Best thing I got for Fathers day, was the card my daughter "fabricated" for me. I'm a Cowboy's fan, If you can't tell, I like to live the "High Life".

Many years ago, I lived in a small Ohio town. (pop. 16,000) I wanted a router. So I had the Sears Catalog store call my wife offering a good deal on a router. They said that I had spent quite a bit of time looking at the one on display. It didn't work either.

Well, it sounds like a few of us were really lucky. BTW, as happy as I am about the Router, I have to say it is the hand drawn & hand made gifts from the kids that are really cool.

Even though, I am not a Cowboys fan. I do like your pic that your daughter put together. That is pretty cool.

I'm pretty hard to buy for so my family usually gives me gift cards from Home Depot/Sears etc. I didn't really need any more tools but can always use more storage so this year I used them to get another toolbox exactly like the one I got for my birthday last year (it was on sale for 1/2 price again at Sears plus an additional 10% off on fathers days only so it went from $1399.00 down to $629.00!)

I got the Bosch Digital Miter finder. Great tool for cutting large crown on the flat. Very simple to use.

I also got the 1617 combo set and is working out well for a first time router user.
