Default Delta Mortising Machine

I am looking at buying a Delta 14-651 mortising machine. Does anyone have any experience with this machine? I know there was a link a week or so ago about the mortise drill press attachment and what I remember some wrere not happy with it. Do you think I would be pleased with the 14-651?
Thanks,
Tom

Just get the Festool Domino and forget about all that, unless you're reproducing older style furnishings.

I have the Delta and though I don't use it everyday, it does a great job when I need it.

Default Delta mortiser

I have a Delta mortiser. I had trouble with getting one from Amazon that was not damged when arrived. I had to re-order and the third one was finally okay.
It is really well made and does a good job. But unless you need very deep mortises and don't like using a router, you should really look at roouter jig like Mortise Pal or make your own of which there are many plans out there.
It really is a personal preference thing both do a good job. If you but a mortiser then the Delta is the way to go.
