I have seen that (I watch all the sawmill videos on YouTube) That no blade guard thing scares me . I know when I break a band I am glad I have a guard.

This scares me even worse . Joasis may tell us it is no big thing, but this guy flirts with that circle blade too much I think (and in sandles of all things)

Now here is a cool dude running a mill, he even mentions this place

I was sweating just watching that guy with the circle mill. Imagine if that big saw shed a shank, it would be like a shotgun slug tearing through the poor guy. Neat video but scary.

I grew up around sawmills just like that one. And the guys did tend to "flirt" with the blade at times. One fellow still has a sawmill like that and does do some milling with it still. But as I remember it, he has a 3-4 ft long "stick" with a special designed end that he uses to get next to the blade to clear a slab or chunk.

Sorry, but you guys were watching it like it was "Holloween XV" I was watching it thinking of good memories from my past... LOL
