Default Cherry Laurel

I have been told that burning Cherry Laurel, the common hedging plant, emits fumes of Hydrogen cyanide. Has anyone experience of turning this wood and are the temperatures reached in turning likely to cause decompstion of the toxins present and so cause a hazard.

I dunno....all the people that have done it are dead, so I can't ask them.

Seriously - I have no idea but it seems highly unlikely.
