Default bleach it or sand it!

Try wood bleach or you might be able to sand out.

When vinegar is mixed with rusted iron it makes a brew that is used ebonize oak, a chemical reaction that turns oak black in an instant. I don't think that is what you really want.

Wood bleach or oxalic acid is probably your best bet, HOWEVER the nail has reacted with the air, water and the cedar. The black stain is a chemical reaction and may be much deeper into the cedar than anticipated. There may not be anything that you can do about the stain.

I vote for keeping it! That's part of the appeal of reclaimed wood, IMHO.
